a cold? in the spring?

My youngest son gave me a cold. Where he got it is anyone's guess, but kids are little petri dishes anyway so it's not surprising.

But now I have it, and my head feels like it's going to explode. And I think I'm going to cough up a lung. Fun.

So, pardon me while I go curl up in a ball and wait for this thing to go away. :)

(((hugs))) Spring illness is the worst. My family passed around colds, stomach bugs and was sprinkled with ear infections, sinus infections and all that fun stuff. we were sick the entire month of April.

more (((hugs)))

Petri dishes, LOL. That just has me giggling for some weird reason. Feel better soon!

Hope you get feeling better. We've got cold bugs in our house too. Two down, four more to go. >.<

Feel better : ) This is the worst year ever for sickness around here.
And it's happening AFTER we expect it which makes it, somehow, all so much worse...

Thanks so much for all your well-wishes. I'm starting to feel better, though my brain is still fuzzy. My husband made me some super-spicy Indian soup over the weekend, and that cleared me out for a good half-day. I was incredibly grateful. :)

Boy, do I sympathize! When our kids were little and we lived in Japan, I caught over nine colds one year. I mainly got them commuting on the trains, but my kids went to nursery school and picked up every bug going -- and they always shared.

I'm game for that super spicy soup, though -- the best thing about having a cold is that you HAVE to eat tons of garlic and chili peppers!

Oh, man, I know how you feel. My throat is hurting, my eyes are starting to water, I keep sneezing and my nose is running like crazy. Can't tell if it's a cold or allergies, though.
