Crafting A Pitch For Your Book

Here's an interesting article on crafting a pitch. Some good advice. And I found the suggested exercise at the end rather amusing. :)

Great article that really hits at the heart of marketing. Readers (i.e. consumers) want to know "what's in it for me?" Everything from the title and cover art to cover blurb and tag line need to illustrate the promise of what a reader will get out of the book.

Very cool. I think pitches are really hard to craft. Any advice on how to do it better is great.
